1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BharatDecision.com ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service. If you disagree, you may not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use BharatDecision. By using the Service, you represent that you are 13 or older and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms. Users under 18 should have parental consent.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and current information during registration.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans is prohibited.
• You must notify us immediately of unauthorized account use.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Content Guidelines — What's Allowed

• Real-life dilemmas about career, love, money, family, travel, education, health, or technology
• Constructive comments and advice
• Voting on others' dilemmas
• Anonymous posting (with reasonable use)

4.1 Prohibited Content

• Hate speech: Content that promotes discrimination based on religion, caste, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or disability
• Harassment: Targeting, threatening, or doxxing individuals
• Misinformation: Deliberately false or misleading content
• Spam: Repeated, automated, or unsolicited content
• Illegal content: Content violating Indian law including IT Act 2000, IPC, or POCSO
• Adult content: Sexual, graphic, or violent content
• Personal information: Sharing others' private information without consent
• Vote manipulation: Using bots, VPNs, or multiple accounts to manipulate vote counts

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant BharatDecision a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the platform. This license ends when you delete your content.

BharatDecision's branding, code, design, and platform are our intellectual property and may not be reproduced without written permission.

6. Moderation & Enforcement

• We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms at our discretion.
• Content with 5+ reports is automatically placed under review.
• Sanctions range from content removal → warning → temporary ban → permanent ban.
• You may appeal moderation decisions by emailing appeals@bharatdecision.com.
• We are not obligated to restore removed content.

7. Anti-Spam & Fair Use

• Maximum 5 dilemmas per hour per IP address.
• One vote per dilemma per IP address/user account.
• Using VPNs, proxies, or automation to circumvent limits is prohibited.
• Karma-weighted voting may apply: users with higher karma have slightly more influence.

8. Disclaimers

BharatDecision is a community platform. Advice and opinions expressed by users are not professional advice (legal, medical, financial). We are not liable for decisions you make based on community votes or comments. Always consult qualified professionals for important decisions.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, BharatDecision shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed ₹1,000 (one thousand rupees).

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in [City], India. We encourage resolving disputes amicably by contacting legal@bharatdecision.com first.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify registered users by email and display a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
